Here you can see that the V-Gate connection to pin 9 is broken.
Thankfully the connection of pin 7 to 9 of the vertical IC is not affected by
this modification and remains intact.
I used the same fine pair of tweezers and scratched the copper until I could
see the epoxy below - you have to free an area where the wire must be soldered
later (you can see the blank copper to the right of the broken line)
Clean the working area with an alcohol tip to see that no bridges are
left and the connection is opened.
