Orion Nebula M42

L3k - Long exposure mode - Canon 135mm 2.8 lens +2x Tele-Converter - 30.Jan. 2002

1sec exposure - 36 pictures stacked with Giotto and photo finish with Photoshop

Full Moon was already up and probably too bright

M42

L3k - Long exposure mode attached to the Astele 133.5/f10 telescope in prime focus with reducer - 25.Mar.2002

12sec exposure - 15 pictures stacked and contrast improved with Giotto - this area is about 1/4 of FOV. 

Pleiades (M45)

L3k - Long exposure mode - Canon 135mm 2.8 lens - 2.Apr. 2002

10 sec exposure - total 17 pictures stacked with Giotto and photo finish with Photoshop

 

Jupiter

Half size picture taken on 19.Apr. 2002 with the L3k attached to the Astele 133.5/f10 telescope in prime focus with x2 Barlow as 30sec AVI - then Giotto and Photoshop.

Still trying to get the focus on these planets ....

M94 - NGC4736

18 sec exposure - total 20 pictures stacked with Registax 1.0 and photo finish with Photoshop

The two galaxies are the first I could catch - but focus was not optimal

M64 - NGC4826

M13 - NGC6205 - Cluster in Hercules

740k - SC1.5 - LX90 FR 0.3 3.Sep.2003

21x20sec stacked with MIRA AP - FFT to remove pattern - Photoshop.

vis. 5.7 - some 100k stars - 14E9 years old - distance 25'000 ly - size 23', 150 ly effectively
